Dr. Dog :: 6.20.18 :: Brooklyn Steel :: Brooklyn, NY

Philadelphia’s Dr. Dog are in the middle of a three-night takeover of Brooklyn Steel in New York City. The band recently released their 10th album Critical Equation and soon will celebrate their 20th anniversary. Last night’s concert at Brooklyn Steel saw Dr. Dog put a focus on material from both their new album and 2016’s Abandoned Mansion. The quintet also worked in a cover of Architecture In Helsinki’s “Heart It Races” and a handful of classics including “Shadow People,” “The Beach” and “That Old Black Hole.” Photographer Andrew Blackstein captured the action on Wednesday in Brooklyn.
