Donald Fagen Sits In With Amy Helm & The Handsome Strangers

On Monday night, Amy Helm & The Handsome Strangers’ monthly residency at City Winery in New York City continued with help from special guests Donald Fagen of Steely Dan, Tash Neal of The London Souls and Matt Andersen.

Fagen came out for a good chunk of Helm’s performance for takes on such songs as “King Harvest,” “Sky Is Falling,” “Meet Me In The Morning” and “Slippin’ & Slidin’.” Amy’s step father was a frequent guest at Levon Helm Studios and often led The Levon Helm Band through “King Harvest” during those appearances.
