Organizers of The 2014 Disc Jam Music Festival have announced that they will be relocating this year’s festival, scheduled to take place June 13-15, from Brimfield, MA to Camp Coldbrook in Barre, MA. Festival promoters made the move after some logistical concerns came up that they feel will be best overcome by moving the event to its new site.

“We know that it is kind of last minute, but in the end, we feel that the move is the right decision and hope that all of our attendees will feel the same way once they have seen this beautiful new site,” said festival promoter Tony Scavone in a statement announcing the move. “While we have enjoyed our time in Brimfield, MA, we feel that Camp Coldbrook is much bettered suited for what we are trying to accomplish with Disc Jam and that this new site will provide for the most convenient and enjoyable experience possible for our attendees, which in the end is our main focus.”

Camp Coldbrook features picturesque views, a grassy camping area, two swimming pools, a bar, a later curfew on the main stages (1:00AM) and a spacious music hall for late night sets. The venue also provides much needed additional space for the festival after reaching capacity at their original site last summer. In addition, the 18-hole tournament-caliber Barre Falls Dam Disc Golf Course, is just 3.5 miles away and will play host to this year’s disc golf tournaments.

The previously-announced Disc Jam lineup remains intact and those who already purchased tickets will be able to use them at the new location. Bands scheduled to perform this year include: Dopapod (x2), Kung Fu, Twiddle, Turkuaz, The Nth Power, Particle & Friends Super Jam, Pink Talking Fish, The Breakfast, Consider the Source (x2) and many more.

Tickets for Disc Jam are available via Big Cartel.
