Watch DIIV’s Brooding Cover Of Pavement’s ‘Cream Of Gold’ At SiriusXM

Brooklyn-based rockers DIIV performed a live session at SiriusXM. While there, the band put their stamp on a cover of Pavement’s “Cream Of Gold.”

DIIV will head to Europe in November to continue their tour in support of their fourth album, Frog In Boiling Water, which was issued in May by Fantasy Records. The follow up to 2019’s Deceiver was recorded by the band — Andrew Bailey, Colin Caulfield, Ben Newman and Zachary Cole Smith — with producer Chris Coady.

“Cream Of Gold” appeared on Pavement’s fifth and (to date) final album, 1999’s Terror Twilight. DIIV incorporated the song into a performance in September in São Paulo, Brazil.
