David Gans To Perform At Events In Honor Of New Grateful Dead Book

Famed Grateful Dead historians David Gans and Blair Jackson recently released their latest tome about the band, This Is All A Dream We Dreamed – An Oral History Of The Grateful Dead. Gans will perform at a handful at events in support of the book with Jackson appearing at a few as well.
On December 4 Gans and Terrapin Flyer will play Mackey’s Hideout in McHenry, Illinois. Then, on December 5, Gans and Terrapin Flyer will perform at the James Simpson Theater within Chicago’s Field Museum. Next up for Gans is a visit to Don Quixote’s International Music Hall in Felton, California along with Spirit Of 76 featuring Melvin Seals. Blair and David will sign books, while Blair will interview Melvin before the show. Finally, Great American Music Hall in San Francisco will host This Is All A Dream We Dreamed: A Salute To The Grateful Dead on December 20. Jackson and Gans will sign books with confirmed performers including Sweet Blossom, Mark Karan, James Nash and Henry Kaiser.

This Is All A Dream We Dreamed – An Oral History Of The Grateful Dead weaves together quotes from band members and such luminaries as Bill Graham, Mountain Girl, Miles Davis, David Crosby and a host of Merry Pranksters to tell the story of the legendary band.
