The next installment of Dave Matthews Band‘s Live Trax live archival series will feature official audio of the group’s November 2, 1998 concert at Boise State University Pavilion in Boise, Idaho. Live Trax Vol. 53 is due on October 9 in MP3, FLAC and CD formats with pre-orders now available.

DMB’s stop in Boise came during a fall tour in support of Before These Crowded Streets, a studio album released the prior April. The band played five tracks from Before These Crowded Streets as part of their 13-song performance at BSU. Matthews and company’s performance had a celebratory feel as it was held on drummer Carter Beauford‘s 40th birthday.

Guitarist Tim Reynolds was on hand as a special guest long before he joined DMB as a full-time member. Live Trax Vol. 53 features “inspired versions of ‘Rapunzel,’ ‘Stay (Wasting Time),’ ‘Crush,’ as well as extended jams on ‘Lie In Our Graves’ and ‘Jimi Thing,'” as per an announcement of the upcoming release.
