Dave Matthews Band selected their June 28, 2008 concert at Nissan Pavilion in Bristow, Virginia for the next installment in their DMB Drive-In series airing on Wednesday, August 19 at 8 p.m. ET. The show was saxophonist LeRoi Moore’s last with the band before he died in August 2008 from complications sustained in an ATV accident and is in memory of the DMB founding member.
August 19 marks 12 years to the day since LeRoi’s death. The 2008 concert in Bristow featured a bust out of “The Space Between” for the first time in nearly four years, as per DMB Almanac. The show also saw the DMB debut of Peter Gabriel’s “Sledgehammer” as well as an “Also Sprach Zarathustra, Funk #49” interpolation during “Anyone Seen The Bridge.”
