Dave Matthews Band Announces Summer Tour & 2017 Hiatus

The Dave Matthews Band have announced an extensive Summer Tour. Today’s announcement for the tour which spans May through September comes with word the band will take a hiatus from touring in 2017.
DMB begins the tour at INTRUST Bank Arena in Wichita, Kansas May 11. The band will then head to Texas for a pair of shows ahead of performances in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Ohio, Alabama, North Carolina, Georgia and Missouri. Following a brief break, Matthews & Co. return in June for shows in the Northeast and Virginia before a series of dates in the Midwest including two nights at Alpine Valley July 1 – 2. From there, the group switches between the Northeast and Midwest for the majority of July with two-night stands set for Gilford, New Hampshire; Saratoga Springs, New York and Noblesville, Indiana. Three performances in Florida bring DMB’s July to a close. In late August, the Dave Matthews Band will hit the West Coast for a series of shows that includes two nights at the Berkeley Greek and the group’s annual Labor Day Weekend visit to The Gorge in George, Washington September 2 – 4.
Members of DMB’s The Warehouse fan club will have access to a presale that will begin on Tuesday, January 26 at 10 a.m. ET and will offer general tickets, exclusive Premium Packages, Premier Parking and Camping. Public on-sales follow starting Friday, February 19 at noon local time. The Summer Tour celebrates the Dave Matthews Band’s 25th anniversary. A note shared by the band reads in part, “We will take a break from touring in 2017. We are so appreciative of our amazing fans and want to thank you all for your continued support. See you this summer!”
