Cover Alert | The Dean Ween Group Covers Sweet Jane

The Dean Ween Group made their official debut last night at Ottobar in Baltimore last night following a warm-up show in New Hope on Wednesday. Once again, the band mixed new originals with classic Ween material and even a cover of “Sweet Jane” by The Velvet Underground.

“Sweet Jane” saw guitar theatrics from Deaner and Joe Kramer as they were backed by the rhythm section of Dave Dreiwitz and Ray Kubian. Deaner’s Moistboyz collaborator Guy Heller provided vocals on the Lou Reed-penned tune.
