Cover Alert | Sister Sparrow – Led Zeppelin’s Rock And Roll

Last month Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds headlined Brooklyn Bowl in their longtime hometown. The band wanted to change things up for the performance after many Brooklyn shows over the past few years, so they gave fans a chance to vote on an album that the group would cover in its entirety. Led Zeppelin IV won in fan voting and they’ve since continued to cover some of the tunes from the legendary album. 
Led Zeppelin’s “Rock And Roll” fits Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds’s dirty brass sound perfectly. Vocalist Arleigh Kincheloe hits the high notes with just enough of the grit the song requires.
