Cover Alert | Phil Lesh & Friends Tackle The Band

Phil Lesh & Friends played their second of four consecutive shows at Terrapin Crossroads in San Rafael, CA last night featuring the lineup of Phil Lesh, Grahame Lesh, John Medeski, John Scofield, John Kadlecik and Joe Russo. The biggest surprise of the night was a cover of The Band’s Look Out Cleveland which hadn’t been performed at a Phil & Friends show since “album night” at the venue on May 10, 2012.

Grahame Lesh handled vocals on the cover as he does when he performs “Look Out Cleveland” with The Terrapin Family Band. Alex Koford of the Family Band helped out on backing vocals for the tune. Take a listen to audio of the cover:
