For Mule’s New Year’s show in 2008, they presented “Temple Of The Mule” in which they covered a number of gems from the grunge era including “All Apologies.” Warren and Co. covered the tune twice during that New Year’s Run and have only played the Nirvana song a total of ten times including last night. Haynes also took an opportunity to honor the birthday boy after Abts’ drum segment in the second set. The show came to a close with a “Foresaken Savior” and “Working Class Hero” encore.
