We’re not ones to usually applaud big corporate brands, but we’ve got to hand it to Levi’s for putting together an amazing event to celebrate the launch of their Orange Tab collection. Levi’s took over a large site in Southern California’s Topanga Canyon for a festival dubbed “Levi’s Party In Your Pants.” Why is this news for a site like JamBase? Fest organizers tapped Dawes to play The Band covers, Jonathan Wilson and Friends to cover the Grateful Dead and members of Foo Fighters, as Chevy Metal, to cover the Stones.

Ever since we saw a post from our friends at Live Music Blog about the event, we’ve been waiting for videos to surface and thanks to Faketaper today is that day.
