Watch Courtney Barnett Cover Neil Young’s ‘Lotta Love’ For KCRW
The Australian singer-songwriter also recorded a version of the song for Heart Of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young Vol. 1.

Courtney Barnett offered a solo acoustic performance for Los Angeles-area public radio station KCRW ahead of her appearance at the Just Like Heaven Festival this weekend. The Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist covered a Neil Young song, “Lotta Love,” and also performed original, “Before You Gotta Go.”
“Before You Gotta Go” appears on Courtney Barnett’s 2021 album, Things Take Time, Take Time. Neil Young’s “Lotta Love” originally appeared on his album, Comes A Time, released in 1978. Young collaborator Nicolette Larson clocked a hit with “Lotta Love” that same year.
Barnett recently released a cover of “Lotta Love.” Courtney’s version landed on the recently released Neil Young tribute album, Heart Of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young Vol. 1, which also saw contributions from Brandi Carlile, Eddie Vedder, Fiona Apple, Anders Osborne and more.
