Americana act Cordovas recently assembled for a session at Toe Rag Studios, the London studio where The White Stripes recorded the Grammy-winning LP Elephant. One of the songs Cordovas laid down was a rollicking rendition of “Truckin’.” The band shared video featuring their cover of the Grateful Dead classic.
Cordovas are gearing up for the August 10th release of their ATO Records debut, That Santa Fe Channel. The five-piece tapped Kenneth Pattengale of the Milk Carton Kids to produce the LP, which was recorded close to Cordovas’ East Nashville home. Joe Firstman, Lucca Soria, Toby Weaver, Graham Spillman and Sevans Henderson will support the album with an extensive tour.
