Complete Last Waltz | Russo, Benevento, Cline And More

Back in August we reported on the Complete Last Waltz coming to The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY this November. For a while the performance, in which a number of artists come together to perform the songs from The Band’s famed Last Waltz concert, was taken off the Cap’s calendar making us think the show wouldn’t go on. Thankfully, the show returned to the venue’s schedule and is now planned for Wednesday, November 27 -the day before Thanksgiving.

The initial lineup for the event has been revealed and includes many of the performers who took part in the first The Complete Last Waltz last November in San Francisco. Joe Russo, Ryan Bingham, Dave Dreiwitz, Nels Cline, Marco Benevento, Cass McCombs, Binky Griptite, The Antibalas Horns, Nicole Atkins, Matt Vasquez, Sam Cohen, Jeff Chimenti, Richard Swift, Eric D Johnson, Andy Cabic and Alecia Chakour are also scheduled to perform with organizers promising more special guests will be announced soon.
