Warren Haynes’ busy weekend got underway with the Christmas Jam pre-jam on Friday taking place at The Orange Peel in Asheville, North Carolina. The guitarist joined pre-jam performers Clutch for Black Sabbath’s “Lord of This World.”
“Lord of This World” appears on Sabbath’s 1971 album Master of Reality. Maryland rockers Clutch welcomed Haynes for the song as the final number of their set at The Orange Peel.

“We had a brief conversation about this next song,” Clutch frontman Neil Fallon said as Warren took the stage. “Thanks for inviting us,” Fallon continued. “We kept saying, ‘you sure you know this?’ And he said ‘dude, I got this.’”
Haynes definitely had it, channeling Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi while adding his own unmistakable flair. Watch Warren Haynes perform Black Sabbath’s “Lord of This World” with Clutch below:
