Karina Rykman’s set at the Warren Haynes-hosted 2023 Christmas Jam benefit concert saw the guitarist joining the bassist for the latter’s “Dirty South.” The performance took place on Saturday in Haynes’ hometown of Asheville, North Carolina.
Karina Rykman and her band — drummer Chris Corsico and guitarist Adam November — kicked off the set with the title track from her 2023 album, Joyride. The trio followed with the non-album track “Reboot.”

Warren Haynes then emerged for the third song of Karina’s set. The former Allman Brothers Band guitarist joined renowned ABB fan Rykman for “Dirty South,” which arrived in 2020 as a single. Watch Warren add to “Dirty South” at Christmas Jam below:
Rykman kept the guests coming following the Haynes sit-in with keyboardist John Medeski taking the stage for Karina’s “City Kids.” “Atom Dance” came next ahead of Joyride’s “Elevator” to seal the set.
