Event host and guitarist Warren Haynes joined Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening during their set at the 2023 Xmas Jam benefit concert at Asheville, North Carolina’s ExploreAsheville.com Arena on Saturday. The collaborators teamed for the LZ classic “Whole Lotta Love” to wrap the seven-song set.
Following additional Zep faves including opener “Over the Hills and Far Away,” “Good Times Bad Times,” “Ramble On,” “What Is and What Should Never Be” and more. Warren emerged with son of legendary Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham and his band for the Led Zeppelin II opener, “Whole Lotta Love.”
After Led Zeppelin evening vocalist James Dylan led the group through the first verses, Haynes and JBLZE guitarist Jimmy Sakurai swapped riffs on the jam with fiery results. Watch Warren join JBLZE for “Whole Lotta Love” below:
