The Chris Robinson Brotherhood will continue their prolific ways by soon unveiling a third collection of new material in just two years time. Barefoot In The Head is a 10-track effort, self-produced by the band, due July 21 via Silver Arrow Records. In addition, the band has announced frontman Chris Robinson will make his return to The Howard Stern Show on SiriusXM satellite radio tomorrow (Tuesday, May 16) to discuss his career and latest LP.
As always, The CRB will continue their road warrior ways with over 120 shows planned in 2017 for the fourth year in a row. Look for fall tour dates to be announced shortly. Robinson and his mates have released the first single off Barefoot In The Head, “Behold The Seer”:
“They say the only people who know true freedom are musicians and gangsters,” Chris Robinson said in a statement. “And Bob Dylan said to live outside the law you must be honest. We’re living in these anxiety-filled times, in an era of ‘no truth,’ but what our music represents is this truly honest way of communicating with people, and that’s a really freeing thing.” On Wednesday, The CRB will co-headline NYC’s Central Park Summerstage with Gov’t Mule ahead of a busy summer.
