Radiohead Schedules 21 Shows In Australia & Japan For 2027

Radiohead will head to Australia and Japan in 2027 for a series of 21 arena concerts. The newly announced shows, the band’s only live performances planned for next year, will take place in May and June.

Radiohead will return to Australia for the first time since 2012, playing four shows at RAC Arena in Perth, six at Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne and six at Afterpay Arena in Sydney. The band will then head to Japan for five concerts at GMO Arena in Saitama, marking their first performances in the country since appearing at Summer Sonic in 2016 and first headlining shows there since 2008.

The announcement follows Radiohead’s return to the road in late 2025 after a seven-year touring hiatus. The band played 20 concerts consisting of four-night stands in Madrid, Bologna, London, Copenhagen and Berlin.

Guitarist Ed O’Brien revealed plans for additional Radiohead touring earlier this year. O’Brien told Rolling Stone the band intended to play a different continent each year beginning in 2027, with 20 shows annually. The newly announced 21-show itinerary is one concert more than that plan.

The 2027 run begins at RAC Arena on May 3 and continues with additional Perth shows on May 4, 6 and 7. Radiohead will perform at Rod Laver Arena on May 13, 14, 16, 17, 19 and 20 before wrapping the Australian portion with Afterpay Arena concerts on May 25, 26, 28, 29 and 31 and June 1. The five-show GMO Arena residency follows on June 8, 9, 11, 12 and 13.

Fans must register in advance for access to tickets in an effort to reduce purchases by bots and scalpers. Registration for the Australian dates is underway and closes Thursday, September 10 at 5 p.m. AEST/3 p.m. AWST. Registration for the Japan shows runs through Sunday, September 27 at 11:59 p.m. JST.
