Chris Robinson Brotherhood Announces Summer 2017 Dates & Album Title

The Chris Robinson Brotherhood will embark on the first leg of their Barefoot In The Head Tour this summer. Robinson and his band will focus on the East Coast over the course of the August run, while two additional festival appearances at Veneta’s Oregon County Fair on July 7 and the first ever Bourbon & Beyond Festival in Louisville on September 23 have also been added.

Barefoot In The Head is the title of The CRB’s upcoming studio album which is due late this summer. Look for a release date to be announced soon. The bulk of the tour takes place in August starting with a visit to Wilmington, North Carolina on the 9th. From there, the group visits Asheville, Virginia Beach, Charlottesville and Annapolis before heading to New England for performances in Portsmouth, New Hampshire and Manunuck, Rhode Island.

The tour continues with Donavon Frankenreiter at the Stone Pony Summerstage in Asbury Park, New Jersey on August 19 ahead of stops in the Massachusetts cities of Boston and Holyoke. A trip to Pennsylvania features visits to Pittsburgh and State College, while the tour winds down with late August concerts in Ithaca, Woodstock and Washington D.C.

On May 5, The CRB will issue Betty’s Blends, Vole. 3: Self-Rising, Southern Blends, the latest installment of their Betty Cantor-Jackson produced live album series. Listen to “Got Love If You Want It” from the set which premiered on Ultimate Classic Rock:
