Chicago Cubs Players & Bill Murray Sing ‘Go Cubs Go’ On ‘Saturday Night Live’

A special musical performance took place during the “Weekend Update” segment of last night’s Saturday Night Live. Three members of the world champion Chicago Cubs teamed with SNL alum Bill Murray to sing Steve Goodman’s anthem “Go Cubs Go.”
SNL recruited David Ross, Anthony Rizzo and Dexter Fowler as the Cubs players to join Murray and backing vocalists on a song Goodman wrote just six months before he lost his battle with cancer in 1984. Watch “Go Cubs Go” from this weekend’s installment of Saturday Night Live:
