Cat Stevens Song Used As Couch Gag For Simpsons Episode

In lieu of the typical “Couch Gag,” we’ve come to expect from The Simpsons, the show’s producers had another idea in store for last night’s episode. Instead of the theme song, we saw scenes from the show play out to the soundtrack of Yusuf Islam/Cat Stevens’ “Tea For Tillerman,” from the Rock Hall inductee’s 1970 album of the same name.

Yusuf Islam/Cat Stevens will hit the road in December for a rare North American tour and will release his new studio album, Tell ‘Em I’m Gone, later this month.
