By Scott Bernstein Jun 6, 2016 • 7:03 am PDT

On Sunday the Golden State Warriors defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 2 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena in Oakland. Before the game Bay Area legend Carlos Santana and his wife Cindy Blackman Santana teamed up for an inventive version of the “Star-Spangled Banner.”
The husband-and-wife duo channeled Jimi Hendrix’s Woodstock version while adding their own flair to last night’s Anthem. Carlos and Cindy’s version from last night followed a similar take they laid down before Game 2 of last year’s NBA Finals which featured the same teams. The guitarist also teamed with his son Salvador to perform the anthem ahead of a 2014 World Series game in San Francisco.
