On Thursday night, Fairfield Theater Company’s StageOne hosted co-founding member of the Allman Brothers Band, Butch Trucks. The drummer was joined by his Freight Train Band whose members include guitarist Vaylor Trucks, bassist Berry Oakley Jr., percussionist Garrett Dawson, guitarist Ben Sparaco, keyboardist Bruce Katz and vocalist Heather Gillis. Butch and his band served up a set and encore heavy on ABB favorites such as “In Memory Of Elizabeth Reed,” “Jessica” and “Whipping Post” with classic rock covers including The Band’s “Ophelia” and Bob Dylan’s “Highway 61.” Photographer Scott Harris captured the action:
