Bust Outs And Christmas Songs For moe. In San Francisco
By Scott Bernstein Dec 14, 2013 • 1:30 pm PST

moe. dug deep into their repertoire at Thursday’s opening show of the three-night stand for takes on moe.ldie “Funky Reuben” (last played on April 3, 2011) and Season’s Greetings track “Together At Christmas” (last played on December 26, 2011). The show also included the fitting instrumental “CalifornIA” and a cover of The Band’s “Up On Cripple Creek.” Last night’s performance saw moe. bust out their version of Vince Guaraldi’s “Linus And Lucy,” which they had recorded for Season’s Greetings. Drummer Vinnie Amico took center stage as moe. tipped their hats towards San Francisco icons the Grateful Dead for a take on “Casey Jones” after working “Time Ed” into the middle of “The Road” earlier in the evening.
