Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band Keep The Tour Debuts At European Finale

On Sunday night Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band concluded the European Leg of The River Tour at Letzigrund Stadion in Zurich, Switzerland. Sixty-five shows into the run The Boss isn’t done dusting off gems from his repertoire as last night’s performance included two more tour debuts.
Springsteen opened with a run of “Prove It All Night,” “My Love Will Not Let You Down,” “The Ties That Band,” “Sherry Darling,” “Trapped” and “Spirit In The Night.” From there, The Boss dusted off the two tour debuts. Up first was “None But The Brave,” a Born In The U.S.A. outtake last played in 2012 at Wrigley Field and performed just seven times in total. Then, Bruce and the band busted out “Roll Of The Dice” from 1992’s Human Touch. “Roll Of The Dice” had only been performed twice since 2005 before last night. The rest of the show featured plenty of rarities as Bruce played “Jole Blon,” “American Skin (41 Shots),” “Mary’s Place” and “Shout” for the first time on Swiss soil.
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band now return to the states for the second U.S. leg of The River Tour 2016. The run of mostly stadium shows begins with a pair of concerts at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey August 23 and 25.
