Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers Share Live ‘Shenandoah’ & ‘Across The River’ Recordings

The latest installment in Bruce Hornsby & The Noisemakers‘ monthly Free Noise live download series is a show the band played in September 2016 in Orkney Springs, Virginia. The pianist bandleader has shared a pair of songs from the second set of the new archival release.

Bruce and the band closed their second set on September 3 at the Shenandoah Valley Music Fest with a setting-appropriate performance of the traditional folk composition “Shenandoah.” They then moved into a take on the hit “Across The River” off the 1990 Bruce Hornsby And The Range album A Night On The Town.
