Brandi Carlile Releases ‘You And Me On The Rock’ Video

Brandi Carlile debuted the official music video for “You And Me On The Rock.” The singer-songwriter enlisted Computer Team to create, animate and direct the visual.
“You And Me On The Rock” appears on Carlile’s latest studio album, In These Silent Days. The LP came out last October and was co-produced by Dave Cobb and Shooter Jennings. Brandi recorded the 10-track follow-up to 2018’s By The Way, I Forgive You at the historic RCA Studio A in Nashville.
Brandi Carlile shared the following in regards to “You And Me On The Rock”:
“This song is for my wife, Catherine. When life changed during quarantine and everything that I identify myself by went away, I was left with a question of ‘is what I’ve built my life on really a solid foundation?’ I wrote this song and realized that even the most intensely self-identifying things can go away, but what my life is really built on, which is faith and my family, it’s a rock, and it’s solid.”
