Actor Bradley Cooper joined Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder during PJ’s headlining set at BottleRock Napa Valley in Napa, California on Saturday. The pair offered a duet on “Maybe It’s Time” from the film A Star Is Born and Bradley also sat-in on closer “Rockin’ In The Free World.”

Cooper directed and starred in the acclaimed 2018 film A Star Is Born (his directoial debut) alongside Lady Gaga. Cooper sought out renowned producer Dave Cobb to help him model the accompanying soundtrack. Cobb was working with frequent collaborator Jason Isbell at the time and asked him to write a song for the film. The result was “Maybe It’s Time,” which Cooper performed in A Star Is Born. Vedder recently debuted the song at a Pearl Jam concert in Las Vegas.

Vedder kicked off the six-song encore with a solo acoustic performance of Wayne Cochran’s “Last Kiss.” Copper then joined to sing Isbell’s “Maybe It’s Time,” accompanied by Ed on vocals and acoustic guitar. Watch the duet below:

Pearl Jam opened their BottleRock Napa headline with “Lukin” followed by more ‘90s favorites: “Corduroy,” “Why Go,” “Elderly Woman Behind the Counter in a Small Town” and “Given To Fly.” The band then turned to material from their new album Dark Matter with “Scared of Fear,” “React, Respond” and “Wreckage.”

After “Daughter,” which contained elements of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick in the Wall (Part 2),” PJ offered the title track to Dark Matter and would also perform the record’s “Waiting For Stevie” and “Running” among classic cuts like “Even Flow” and “Black.” The main set came to a close with “Porch” ahead of the encore with Cooper.

Pearl Jam performs in their hometown of Seattle tonight. View the band’s full tour routing with ticket info below.
