At 81 years young, blues legend Buddy Guy is still crossing the globe to bring his raw, funky and unfiltered music to multiple generations of fans. This past Friday night, Atlantans came en masse to the Atlanta Botanical Garden to show Buddy Guy the love and respect that so many years dedicated to his craft has earned him. Members of the engaging crowd, which was close to capacity, were eager to voice their appreciation freely proclaiming “We love you Buddy!!!” among other rowdy calls of affection.

Touring with Buddy is his 19-year-old protege, Quinn Sullivan. Buddy met the then 10-year-old Quinn at one of his shows and took this talented young man under his wing. Guy kept his promise to mentor Muddy Waters by showing a new generation of bluesmen the art of the performance, ensuring that the love for the Blues is carried on into the future.
