Bon Iver Welcomes Bruce Hornsby & Jenny Lewis At Coachella

Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon has often talked of Bruce Hornsby‘s influence on his music and Vernon appears on Bruce’s latest album. Last night the Vernon/Hornsby musical relationship yielded more fruit when Jenny Lewis and the legendary keyboardist sat-in with Bon Iver at the Coachella festival in Indio, California.

Hornsby and Lewis emerged during Bon Iver’s set to perform “The End Of The Innocence,” a song Bruce wrote with Don Henley for Henley’s 1989 album of the same name. Bruce, Justin and Jenny swapped verses of the song. Watch fan-shot footage of the collaboration captured by ednla:
