Bob Weir Performs With Robert Randolph, Former Members Of Doobie Brothers, Guns N’ Roses & Others

Yesterday, Grateful Dead founding member Bob Weir performed with former Guns N’ Roses drummer Matt Sorum, steel guitarist Robert Randolph, Doobie Brothers/Steely Dan guitarist Jeff “Skunk” Baxter, members of Disreputable Few and others at the D’Angelico Guitars booth at the NAMM tradeshow in Anaheim. Bobby’s appearance included the debut of his signature D’Angelico guitar.
Bobby and the ensemble performed a number of Grateful Dead classics such as “Dark Star,” “The Other One” and “Touch Of Grey.” Weir played acoustic guitar for a portion of the set that also featured songs from his solo album Blue Mountain, along with his newly unveiled electric D’Angelico model.
