By Scott Bernstein Mar 21, 2016 • 8:02 am PDT

Guitarist Jackie Greene brought his band to Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California on Sunday, where the group was joined by Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir for the end of their set as well as the encore. Greene has a long history of performing with Bobby including a tour that found the pair performing with Chris Robinson.
Weir, who is one of the owners of Sweetwater, emerged towards the end of the Jackie Greene Band’s set to lead the ensemble on The Temptations’ “Standing On Shaky Ground,” his new original “Digging A Hole” and the Grateful Dead classic “Sugaree.” Keyboardist Alex Nelson added to the collaborations as well. For the encore, Jackie and his band along with the guests ended the night with “West L.A. Fadeaway.”
