Full show audio of Lukas Nelson’s set featuring a handful of songs with Bob Weir has emerged. Stream the recording below.

Last night, a bevy of Bay Area musicians came together at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California for a concert to benefit Music Heals International. Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir, Promise Of The Real frontman Lukas Nelson and members of Midnight North, The Mother Hips and The Grateful Bluegrass Boys were among those who performed at last night’s benefit.

As per Deadheadland’s extensive report, the concert began with a performance by an acoustic quartet featuring Greg Loiacono of The Mother Hips, Jason Crosby and Midnight North’s Grahame Lesh and Elliott Peck. The quartet’s set was followed by auctions to benefit MHI before Nelson came out for a solo set. Lukas was joined by Bob Weir for a portion of the show that included Bobby’s recently debuted “Dig A Hole” as well as takes on “Will The Circle Be Unbroken” and “I Shall Be Released.” The Grateful Bluegrass Boys emerged during “I Shall Be Released” and also added to “Big River” before Nelson and Weir left them to conclude the show.

Music Heals International works to bring music and musicians to the children of Haiti and other parts of the world. MHI is designed to teach and inspire children, using music as a powerful force for education, creativity and healing. Head to Deadheadland for much more on last night’s benefit.
