Bob Dylan Cancels 2020 US Tour

By Scott Bernstein May 13, 2020 7:50 am PDT

Bob Dylan‘s 2020 summer tour will not proceed as planned. Dylan canceled the tour “in the interest of public health and safety” while social-distancing guidelines are in place during the coronavirus COVID-19 pandemic.

The tour was originally scheduled to start on June 4 in Bend, Oregon. Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats and Hot Club of Cowtown had been tapped to open most shows for the run, which spanned through July 12. Refunds are available via point of purchase.

Here’s the full note from Bob Dylan’s camp:

To all our fans:

In the interest of public health and safety and after many attempts to try and reschedule these shows for a workable timeframe this year, it is with deep regret that we announce the US Bob Dylan shows originally scheduled for June/July are cancelled. We hope to be back out on the road at the earliest possible time once we are confident that it is safe for both fans and concert staff.

Please contact your point of purchase for all information on refunds.
