Bob Dylan Shares New Song ‘I Contain Multitudes’

Bob Dylan shared a new song entitled “I Contain Multitudes.” The song is the second new recording shared by Dylan in recent weeks, joining the 17-minute “Murder Most Foul.”

    Bob Dylan unveiled the 17-minute song “Murder Most Fowl” about the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Like the previously shared track, “I Contain Multitudes” finds Dylan again namechecking several prominent figures: Edgar Allen Poe, Anne Frank, Indiana Jones, The Rolling Stones, William Blake, Ludwig van Beethoven and Frédéric Chopin. The two songs are the first new originals released by the 78-year-old since his 2012 album, Tempest. The sparsely arranged “I Contain Multitudes,” featuring acoustic guitar and a string section, can be heard below:
