Blackberry Smoke shared a cover of Wet Willie’s “Keep On Smiling” featuring the latter’s frontman and harmonica player Jimmy Hall along with The Black Bettys vocal duo. The song will land on Blackberry Smoke’s upcoming EP, Live From Capricorn Sound Studios, due out on June 19.

The new live EP from the southern rockers features songs from bands who recorded at the famed Capricorn Sound Studios in Macon, Georgia. So far BBS has released The Allman Brothers Band’s “Midnight Rider,” Marshall Tucker Band’s “Take The Highway” and the late great Little Richard’s “Southern Child.” Wet Willie’s “Keep On Smiling” would become the Mobile, Alabama-based band’s most successful song and serve as the title track for their 1974 release on the Capricorn label

Wet Willie’s Jimmy Hall spoke about recording at the legendary studio space in a statement. “This is always where we wanted to come and record,” he said. “We finally made it in 1970 and it’s just exhilarating. To come back and really relive that, it’s very special. I have to thank Charlie Starr and Blackberry Smoke for thinking about me.”

Along with a much needed #KeepOnSmiling social media campaign video, the Wet Willie cover also arrived with an in-studio visual. Watch both vidoes below:
