The Black Crowes brought the 2022 leg of a tour celebrating the 30th anniversary of their 1990 debut album, Shake Your Money Maker to First Security Amphitheater in Little Rock, Arkansas on Tuesday. The band led by Chris Robinson and Rich Robinson reached deep into their repertoire to end the concert with “Oh Well.” The Fleetwood Mac cover was last played by The Black Crowes in 2013.
The evening began with a complete Shake Your Money Maker performance in the same fashion as all shows on the tour. Next came “Soul Singing” off 2001’s Lions and the Before The Frost… Until The Freeze deep cut “Been A Long Time (Waiting On Love).” The Black Crowes then delivered Amorica gem “Wiser Time” along with “Sting Me” and “Remedy” from 1992’s The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion to conclude the main set.
Fans in Little Rock were treated to a big surprise when The Black Crowes returned for the encore. The band tore through “Oh Well,” a song written by Fleetwood Mac co-founder Peter Green. Fleetwood Mac’s 1969 single was previously performed by The Crowes on Octoer 30, 2013 as per Setlist.FM.
