Bill Kreutzmann To Hold Discussion Of New Memoir

A new book, Deal: My Three Decades of Drumming, Dreams, and Drugs with the Grateful Dead by Grateful Dead drummer Bill Kreutzmann and co-author Benjy Eisen, will be discussed by the two authors at an event at Sweetwater Music Hall in Mill Valley, California, Wednesday, May 27. The autobiography detailing Kreutzmann’s time as a Grateful Dead member will be released Tuesday, May 5 through St. Martin’s Press. The 416 page memoir includes 30 black-and-white photos and a 16-page color photo insert as well as a cover designed by famed artist Stanley Mouse.

Kreutzmann and Eisen will also appear together for a keynote discussion about Deal at the U.S. Cannabis Cup in Denver April 18. While in Colorado, Billy will also perform with Mickey Hart & the Disco Biscuits at Red Rocks April 17 and with his his Billy & The Kids ensemble –presenting Spring 1990 Revisited with special guests –in Denver April 20.
