Beyonce’s Original All-Female Band The OG’s To Perform In New York City

Members of pop star Beyonce’s original all-female band will come together as The O.G.’s for a performance at Highline Ballroom in New York City on July 29. The band features The Nth Power drummer Nikki Glaspie along with bassist Divinity Roxx, keyboardist Brittani Washington, guitarist Angela Johnson Swan, percussionist Marcie Chapa tenor saxophonist Katty Rodriguez and trumpeter Kyla Mosckovitch. Look for the group to perform a mix of originals and familiar covers in NYC on the 29th.

As individual musicians they have toured, performed and recorded with artists such as Alejandro Sanz, The Neville Brothers, Victor Wooten, Maceo Parker, Ceelo, Stephanie Mills, B.O.B, Kathy Sledge, Erykah Badu and many more. Tickets are currently on sale via the venue’s website.
