Bernie Williams Added To Gregg Allman Laid Back Festival

As we reported, legendary performer Gregg Allman will both headline and curate the inaugural Laid Back Festival August 29 at Nikon at Jones Beach Theater in Wantagh, New York. Today, Yankee outfielder and talented guitarist Bernie Williams has been added to the lineup for August’s Laid Back Festival.

The news of Bernie’s addition to the Laid Back Festival comes just days before Sunday’s Bernie Williams Day at Yankee Stadium in the Bronx, where the team will be retiring his #51. In honor of Williams being added to the festival, fans can purchase a special $51.00 all-in pair of tickets between now and Monday, May 25. Festival organizers are also offering a limited amount of Bernie Williams VIP tickets which will include a premium ticket, show poster, and meet & greet with the Yankee legend where he will sign one non-baseball related item.

The Laid Back Festival features Gregg Allman, The Doobie Brothers, Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers, Jaimoe’s Jasssz Band and City of the Sun. More artists will be announced soon. Besides offering an all-star lineup of great music, Laid Back looks to become a premiere destination for great food and drink as well, with Allman and Live Nation curating over 20 of the finest regional restaurants, wineries and breweries.
