Bear Shadow Taps Spoon, Head & Heart + Jason Isbell To Headline Impressive 2023 Lineup

The three-day event takes place a short drive from downtown Highlands, North Carolina.

Spoon, The Head and the Heart and Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will headline the 2023 Bear Shadow Music Festival near Highlands, North Carolina. The third annual event returns to Winfield Farm in Scaly Mountain April 28 – 30.

Spoon will perform on Friday, April 28 with Fruit Bats and Lissie. The Head And The Heart tops a bill on Saturday, April 29 that also includes Neal Francis and Myron Elkins. Jason Isbell And The 400 Unit closes out the festival on Sunday, April 30 after sets from Woody Platt & Shannon Whitworth and Amythyst Kiah.

Main stage performances will take place at “Base Camp,” aka Winfield Farm. Ancillary events include guided hikes through the Highlands’ forest and trails that end with performances from Bear Shadow artists, a flow class in downtown Highlands and half day fly fishing experience.

Various ticketing packages go on sale next Wednesday, November 16 at 10 a.m. ET. Score Bear Shadow 2023 tickets via the festival’s website.

“When we set out to produce one of the hottest tickets on the music festival scene, we knew the Highlands area would deliver appeal, and that is evident in our third annual Bear Shadow festival lineup,” explained festival director Casey Reid. “We are beyond thrilled to bring some of the leading artists to the Highlands Plateau next April to share their talent and join us for another weekend of music and revelry under the canopy of the Blue Ridge Mountains.”
