The Bear Creek Music & Art Festival begins on Thursday, November 14; but those headed down to Spirit Of The Suwannee Music Park might want to get there a day early. This morning Bear Creek organizers have announced that the Music Park will host on a benefit on November 13 featuring The New Mastersounds, The Revivalists, Toubab Krewe, ArtOfficial and Freddy’s Finest.

This Wednesday night benefit celebrates the life of Shelley Allegretto -the wife of longtime SOSMP production manager Michael Allegretto. Shelley tragically passed away earlier this year, leaving behind her beloved husband and two children. Tickets for the benefit cost $25 a piece and include camping, taxes and all fees. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Michael A Family Fund. The Roots, Galactic, Lettuce, Bootsy Collins, The Motet and Antibalas are just a few of the bands signed on for this year’s Bear Creek Music and Art Festival.
