beabadoobee (Beatrice Kristi Ilejay Laus) breaks a two-year silence with “All I Did Was Dream Of You,” a new single recorded in collaboration with The Marías. The moody, fuzz guitar-driven track arrived accompanied by a video filmed on location in Vilnius, Lithuanian.
“All I Did Was Dream Of You” marks the first new original from beabadoobee since the release of her 2024 album This Is How Tomorrow Moves. The track features vocals from The Marías’ María Zardoya.
beabadoobee tapped longtime collaborator Jake Erland and Lithuanian director AboveGround to co-direct the “All I Did Was Dream Of You” video. “I recently watched Bugonia by Yorgos Lanthimos – my boyfriend and I are fucking obsessed with Yorgos – and that last scene inspired the video,” Bea explained of the visual in a Dazed cover story.
“I made [the video] with my boyfriend and one of his good friends, Lucas, who is from Lithuania. It was −17C there – I could have died! I was singing on this frozen lake; it was fucking crazy but it looks so beautiful. It’s a nice bridge to the next thing I want to release,” she added.
