AXS TV To Premiere ‘Santana IV’ Concert Film

On March 21, the classic Santana lineup of Carlos Santana (guitar), Gregg Rolie (keyboards, lead vocals), Neal Schon (guitar, vocals), Michael Carabello (percussion) and Michael Shrieve (drums) reunited at the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay Resort And Casino in Las Vegas for their first live concert since 1973. The historic show was filmed and Santana IV is set to make its television premiere this weekend.

AXS TV will air Santana IV this Sunday, June 19 at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT as part of the network’s’ “Whole Lotta Love” Father’s Day Marathon programming. The Father’s Day premiere will also mark the first television appearance the classic lineup has made since 1973. It will showcase such well-known Santana hits as “Black Magic Woman,” “Oye Como Va,” “Evil Ways,” and “Soul Sacrifice,” along with selections from their just released Santana IV studio album.
