Guns N’ Roses Frontman Axl Rose Breaks Bone In His Foot

By Scott Bernstein Apr 8, 2016 12:59 pm PDT

Tonight, Guns N’ Roses play their first full show featuring vocalist Axl Rose sharing the same stage as guitarist Slash since 1993 at the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. The band did play an intimate warm-up show last Friday in Los Angeles. Apparently, Axl has broken a bone in his foot but the good news is that the shows will go on as planned.

Rose tweeted, “This is what can happen when you do something you haven’t done in nearly over 23 years, ‘Internal Fixation’ (ง’̀-‘́)ง” along with a link to a Vimeo video. In the video, Axl’s orthopedic surgeon explains Rose underwent an “internal fixation” procedure to realign the bones in his foot. Right now Rose is in a cast and will be limiting the weight on his foot for the next four weeks. A statement from GN’R’s reps reads, “this changes nothing…the shows will go on!”

Here’s hoping all goes well in Sin City for Guns N’ Roses.
