Audio | Trey Anastasio Band Debuts Two New Originals

Earlier today we shared audio of the Trey Anastasio Band debut of “1977” by Ana Tijoux. In our post on TAB’s tour opener, we mentioned the group also unveiled a pair of new originals, “Silver Smoke” and “Pulsing Days.” Thanks to taper Phil Rollins audio of last night’s show has surfaced, so we wanted to share audio of the two new Trey songs.

Both songs are on the more mellow side and were performed in the first set. Here’s the mostly acoustic rendition of “Silver Smoke”:

Anastasio sings in harmony with the TAB horn section on the melancholy “Pulsing Days.” This one features a searing Trey solo reminiscent of “Drifting.” Take a listen:
