Aussie rockers Tame Impala have released yet another song from their upcoming album, Currents. The band has shared the track, “Disciples” which is on the follow up to 2012’s Lonerism.

Tame Impala previously issued the album tracks, “Let It Happen” and “‘Cause I’m A Man,” both of which have also made their live debuts. Listen below to “Disciples” which was shared by frontman Kevin Parker during a Reddit “Ask Me Anything” session yesterday. Currents will be out via Modular Recordings/Interscope Records later this year.
Parker’s wide ranging AMA forum discussion touched on many aspects of the band, including Sean Lennon telling Parker his singing voice reminded him of Lennon’s father John, being inspired by Kanye West, and his opinion that “music will be free sooner or later” in response to a question about free streaming.
Parker and the rest of the band play next Friday, May 8 at the Levitation Festival in Austin, Texas.
